The spread of COVID-19 forced the Embassy to adapt and continue operations under new conditions that mitigate the impact of the virus. His Excellency Ali Sharif Ahmed continued to build strong relationships with the diaspora through virtual meetings. His Excellency met with members of the Somali community in Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Ohio, DC, Maryland, and Virginia to discuss the effects of COVID-19 on their respective communities.
